The Comfort House of Augusta is a fully independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As a viable social enterprise, about half our budget comes from our minimum guests fees and the rest comes through grants and generous people like you. Your donation helps us provide a “home away from home” for our guests. We appreciate your gift and the opportunity to partner with you to serve those in need. All donations are tax-deductible.

Volunteer with us!
We want you to join our team and partner with us in serving those facing a medical crisis. There is a place for everyone at Comfort House. Send us an email to share how you would like to volunteer!
Individuals or Groups are invited to:

Create notes and snack bags for guests-
Often caregivers don't care for themselves well and this allows us a tangible way to care the caregiver. Snack bags can be taken to the hospital and often include: bottled water, granola bars, trail mix, etc.

Clean and organize closets, cabinets, pantry, laundry rooms

Assist in general house cleaning

Perform basic facility maintenance

Help with gardening and lawn maintenance

Share us with friends on social media

Decorate at the holidays
