Cost
The requested donation is no more than $20 per night or $100 per week.
The Rooms
Comfort House provides families with a private room and bathroom as well as communal areas. Guests share a comfortable living room and dining area which are frequented by families to provide each other with mutual support and respite. House facilities include a well stocked kitchen, laundry, and parking.
If handicap accommodations are needed, please note it on the referral form.
Community
Referrals must be submitted by hospital staff. Patients may stay with a care provider. Medical monitoring and/or surveillance is not available. Maid service is not available. Co-operation with cleaning is expected.
There are no restrictions on the basis of race, sex, religion or national origin.
Referrals are prioritized based on medical need.
Priority is given to the most critically ill patients.
Comfort House assumes no liability for any personal injury, or damages incurred while navigating the premises. There are stairs within the home, if mobility accommodations are needed, please note that on the referral form before arriving.
